adding powertrol to 1941 B

I have a 1941 B with power lift. can I add powertrol with just a housing swap?

I found this picture on here, this is what I'd like to do.

Yes. Just find a complete powertrol
housing and unbolt your old one. Swap
em out and your done. I have done 5 or
six, nothing to it.

The small housing. The powrtrol will bolt
right on. Even a housing from a 50 will
bolt on and work. I put one from a 70 on
an early A and have used it alot with no
problems.

You will need the gasket though. If your
careful you may be able to reuse the old
one, but I suggest a new one.

excellent, I spent a lot of money on the big housing and installed a new main gasket and PTO seals so I wasn't looking forward to having to replace it.

I don't use the power lift, can I install the threaded plugs and use modern hydraulic couplers?

I am thinking of buying this housing, which part number plugs will fit? do the plugs just lock in place when you push them in? thanks, new to this.
