I bought a 48 A that has been sitting outside in the weather. The left pedal was stuck.I pulled the brake unit off the tractor and took the nut off the shaft and got the drum off. The adjusting bolt is stuck and the pins are stuck too.I took the nut off the pedal and tried to drive off the pedal shaft with a center punch and a shop hammer.I cant get it to move either.I put P B Blaster on it last week to soak. All I have is a small propane torch and tried heating it.It aint hot enough.I think my neighbor has a oxy acetilene torch .So am I going in the right direction? Do I need to heat the crap out of it and maybe she will brake loose? Any sugestions? The pully side brake is fine and turns freely. Now if I could get this one loose now.
