Actually with an air wrench or even hand ratchet it wouldn't take very long to R&R plate with grommets to change cables as there's only 6 little stud bolts. |

| Where did you find that parts diagram with the plate with the grommets in it? I checked the 40 series books and also the 55 series and could not find it. Also, what is the part number for the grommet without the hole in it? |

| It's not located in any tractor parts catalog that have a SGB. I know JD has them because my tractor has a solid grommet. Just go to JDparts.com,click on the box "where used search" and enter part # A52855 and a list of parts catalogs that the plate is in show up. I found this one for a comfort cab that may work R111701 GROMMET ADD 10.10 USD. I know JD has them because my tractor has a solid grommet. I found a another part # for a grommet L76331 but it subs to L152591

| I think what I'll do is do some fabricating. Cut out a new plate using the current as a template. Cut a rectangular hole in it. Put a soft edge around it and hinge the cutout with a couple of cut outs slots for the wires. Open door, put cable through, secure in slot, close door, attach to controller. Should be cheaper and more convienent. With care should also look good. Tim |
