This is the great thing about this hobby. It's like going to the Burger-King--We can have it our way. I personally like museum or new quality. Something like it came off the assembly line or the John Deere Dealer just unloaded it in your yard only 50 plus years have slipped by somewhere. Sometimes you get a good feeling that you just saved a little bit of history from becoming scrapped. Their is a huge difference between a quality project and a painted old tractor. These tractors are also like people in the fact if you can trace their history there is a story behind every one of them. Most have served their owners well and have done their share of work and others are still in the field working. I have also enjoyed meeting some of the most wonderful people in this hobby. It is just personal but to me it's like comparing a fine auto museum to a used car lot. |
