What the heck is my 4430 doing now?

Open-station 4430 Quad-Range. Started it up and the steering goes to the left by itself. Also blows some oil out around the hydraulic filter gasket when it first starts. After it's running, everything functions normally.

The oil filter leak is probably just an o-ring failing,,the steering is probably the steer motor leaking off a bit and correcting it's self on the start up,,not all that bad really...

Hey Tim

Off topic, but ...

I have a bish JD adapter on my K2. The adapter I have doesn't use the top hooks. I had to install upper latch pins off an EIII into the K2 throat to hold the adapter up top (the slots were already there, probably the same on the F2). I had to make a left-hand drive to run a JD grain head, as bish only provided the right hand drive for corn heads and row-crop heads. My 10' green grain head doesn't have the hydrostatic drive reel, if you use one of those you'll have to add a pump setup to the combine.

Do you got any pics of what you did to the combine throat for the two top hooks? I have never tried my Bish adapter, but I hope to plant some grain sorghum and want to mount the JD 454A head on the F2.
