Here are some pics of my Cab Caddy, I was putting a cab on a 4440 with it yesterday and took some pictures to share. I built this 25 years ago and it still works great.

Very well engineered tool. Simular to working on a Ford Super Duty but on the wrong end. It is too bad that patents are so hard to get. Think of all of the gadgets you have made over the years to ease or simplify the work. I say the engineers who design these machines should have to tear them down before final aproval to produce. Maybe robots will be working on things before long! NICE SHOP!

I made for the 30,40,50,55,And 60 series,,I have used it on some old 4020 add on cabs,Hinicker and like, but I drill a hole on each side of the cab and bolt the front part of the stand to the outside of the cab, and put a longer bolt on the rear part of the cab to let the stand catch on,,it worked okay,,Of course when I made it there were no 6&7000"s out yet.

That looks quite handy. Did you start from scratch, or was it modification of some things you had around?

I made from misc. stuff , the wheels are off an old grain drill, cylinder is of a combine feeder house, an old port-a-power pump, some metal out of an old plow,,I have it set so that I could tip it over and pull it behind my old service truck, you can see the tongue clips sticking up..
