A friend is dealing for a 1020 diesel. The owner says that the pto clutch is bad and something about a sump pump being involved with the pto. my knowledge stops with the 2 cylinder tractors. Can someone tell me in country boy lingo what all is involved here?

Which type pto clutch? Hyd ind(control lever between gearshift levers), continuous running aka dual stage or trans driven? The trans pump drives off of the pto input shaft.
