Any chance that the carb rod and governor rod got put on the wrong arms of the governor? The rod that goes from the carb to the governor should go on the outside arm of the governor if standing in front of the carb/governor. The rod from the throttle lever on top of the engine should go to the inside arm on the governor. Just another thought if everything was rebuilt and and not taken apart too far. [Reply]  [No Email]
