| I just looked at my MT trying to get a better idea. Any chance that the carb rod and governor rod got put on the wrong arms of the governor? The rod that goes from the carb to the governor should go on the outside arm of the governor if standing in front of the carb/governor. The rod from the throttle lever on top of the engine should go to the inside arm on the governor. Just another thought if everything was rebuilt and and not taken apart too far. |

| hotflash, I haven't been out in the shop yet but thinking about the throttle rods , I noticed that my throttle lever at the steering wheel was sticking straight up when at idle, which was not very good. You may be on to something. I am going out there in the morning and check this out. Thank you again for the information .
