Got a "new to me' 2040 Diesel,cleaning and serviceing it some. How do you remove the innea air cleaner element? Thank you |

| IIRC, it has it's own little plastic nut threaded on the same stud that secures the primary filter. |

| I see that white plastic flat nut but couldn't grip it to turn it. Has holes in it ,looks like a spanner??? might turn it ??? |

| Usually the nut has slots so you can turn it off with a large screwdriver. |
