JD Model E Manure Spreader

What years were the Model E built and were there any casting numbers or part numbers to determine the year? Are there any web sites with info on these spreaders to help with the restoration, Thank You for all your help!!

Download parts catolog - C63 on JD parts .com; should help some, also search e-bay JD model E spreader; two op. manuals - parts list. on now.. best guess made early -mid 30's to early 40's.. there are more threads on JD & IMP. forms about E spreaders, good pic on (beagle model E search) I've got some orginal model E lit. I'll try & find..

Need Help. am repairing a Model N spreader and need parts. My local JD dealer says all the parts are No Longer Available and I need to find them where ever I can. So here I am asking for help. Need a lower bearing housing and bearing PNs C10917C housing and J19316C bearing. Looking at the Parts Catalog Maybe 8111C is a new sub for both of them as a set. Hope you all can help. thanks in advance for your help.
