Spark Plug Wire Shield

I was under the impression that the early unstyled A's did not have shields for the wires however my parts book show's part number 1129A as the shield for serial number 414810 thru 438176 ? Were they optional from the factory in 34and 35?

You are correct and the stuff they show in a current parts book (PC674) are for retrofit, or superceded parts. Through the end of 35 they had nothing except the small rubber clamp (A470R,#7) and clip (A471R,#8) that bolted to the governor housing. The wires were unprotected from mag to spark plug.
424025-438176 used the short pipe (AB336R,#6) and 438177 and up used the full shield (AA1130R,#1). The retrofit for the earlier tractors was the AA1129R, also #1, complete shield like the AA1130R.
Hope this helps clarify what was original equipment.
