He said that Deere has used that same filter for years and that it fits many different tractors. However, not all tractors use the same gasket. Therefore, it's not included with the filter and you have to buy separately whichever one you need. [Reply]  [No Email]

Get a napa or wix, they come with a new seal, the jd ones do not. And jd is more $. I like wix. DO NOT over tighten the big nut on the filter canister. Just enough to stop leaking. Too tight easily destroys the canister top, HUGE job/pain to repair. [Reply]  [No Email]
