Unstyled B torque specs

Looking for the torque values for the rod and main bearings on a 1938 JD B.

I don't have a break down as to year but my book shows 96 ft. lbs. Then it goes on to say for heat treated (dark colored) studs it is 104. Some hand written notes at the bottom of the page say the older ones are 96.

rla, are you talking about I&T Manual JD-4, which is for A,B,G,H,D,M,and MT? If so, the answer to the question asked is NOT in the I&T manual. The unstyled B's are not discussed. It starts at serial # 96000(1941) for the B's.
