6420 scv remote coupler

hello all--I also have a question about scv--JD parts call this 'quik disconnect coupler deluxe' i think, has drain-back plumbing taking fluid to filler tube/sump. My problem is its forcing the o-ring out under the plastic collar-right at the gap in circlip, only place it can without splitting that collar, i guess. first time it happened, no remotes were in use-guy hit wrong lever--fluid sprayed back glass--figured maybe it dead-headed & pressured up--replace o-rings under that collar. Now--first time remote was actually used, it spit again-obviously i need to go deeper into this coupler-just how is this drainback supposed to work? thanks-paul
 
if i understand you right the problem is the coupler where you plug in the cly hoes. if that correct the best bet is to replace the coupler i has about a dozen used one on my shelf. the seal kit are around 32dollad and the complete couples now are 98.55 the coupler unscrews from the remote easy to do.
 
thanks for reply, ben brown. yes, i will replace. had it off once to replace o-ring under that plastic collar with hose attached, draining back into trans. i thought the blow out was caused by accidently working the remote contols with no hoses attached. I guess the purpose of this whole return system is to contain fluid when it leaks a little--now leaking faster than drain tube can handle?
 
those new couples are a real funkie deal one guy loader was leaking down though it was the remote but being a farm at one time i just hate to spend lot money on parts that are not needed so i just keep massing with it switched the coupler from one set to the one leaking off and the leakage followed the coupler i figured it be in the control valve but it wasent so replaced coupler problem solved thee are two tubes one goes into the transmission the other into the little plastic jug. so they can leak with out one knowing it
