3020 pto seal wear ring

I have my 3020 apart and sure do need that wear ring for the seal. Where to get one is the next question. JD dealer has no part number for it.

So, the shaft was deeply grooved and someone installed a Speedi-Sleeve?

Looks like the shaft is 3.125" in diameter, so you would need a part #99306, 99307, or 99849, depending upon width needed and availability. 99849 is the most commonly available #. Those are SKF numbers. For National MOOG or Timken, replace the "99" in the part # with a "33".

ANY auto parts store or industrial "bearings and drives" place should be able to order you a sleeve, they are NOT cheap, probably $70 to $100.

Verify the measurements and part # BEFORE ordering as it MAY not be returnable if it doesn"t fit or there is not room for it inside the housing bore.

You must referring to a speedi-sleeve for the pilot because the largest diameter on the pto stub shaft is 1.984 in. If so I'd suggest looking for a good used pilot as they can normally be purchased for 1/2 MSRP.

(quoted from post at 17:27:36 02/06/13) Actually that is not the shaft but the guide sleve. It holds the shaft and rides on the seal.

That's the part I was referring to that you can buy a new one for $130 R45126 PILOT,POWER SHAFT ADD 130.00 USD. I just checked and one can be bought from A&I for A-R45126 GUIDE, PTO ADD 100.05 USD .
