4430 wont move in any gear

I think its what they call perma clutch system. And let me refrase it will try to move in all gears and finally it will start moveing real slow and then when it starts to get a little warm it quits completly.
Thanks

Possibly the clutch is "clear" out of it,,or the differential spider gears are wiped out, if this happens it usually knocks the transmission pump off the back of the case, also killing the hydraulics..engage the diff lock and see what happens...

Check the screen behind the oil filter, bought a 4630 in Dec, that I once owned. This tractor would drive on a trailer, but when I stopped to open shop door, it would not move. Mechanic cleaned screen, changed hydraulic oil and filter, everything works fine. He said that the screen had "crap" on it and oil behind was very "dirty", nothing metallic. Hydraulic pressure had been checked before I bought it. The transmission pump was starving for oil, but hydraulic pump would supply pressure at the remotes.

hyd work fine, filter and oil been changed.Dont understand why it wonts to move when cold then as it warms up nothing. Thanks

Have you tried to move it with the diff lock engaged?? This will prove the differential is good, ,if it still will not move with the diff lock engaged then the clutch must be bad.

Oil is a little bit thicker when it's cold compared to operating temp.

Yes it will still not move with diff locked when cold.I am thinking two speed clutch is the problem, cause the perma clutch on the flywheel alows you to put it in gear and also controls pto whick both are working.Tell me what yall think.
Thanks

I always rebuild the perma cluth and the hi lo at the same time.Once you get in there you will be able to see what the problem is.When parts are just worn, discs and plates, the pressures will read normal. Good luck.EP
