I have some vintage Deere parts; new old stock. Bearing race, bearings, and a gauge. I am interested in selling them, but also in finding out more about them. Bearings are JD7590, JD8314, JD8315, and the race is JD7589T. The oil pressure gauge is AM737T.
 
AM737T lists for $81 at john deere.It fits lots of the early 2 cylinders.If yours is new old stock it is more desirable than the current production guages.After market ones run around $24. Bill M.
 
my experience with fifty four year old bearings in a JD is that the originals had the make and standard bearing number on the side of the race or cone. I could get replacements most anywhere.

Maybe the old box would be worth something , I don't know.

I ordered a new inner bearing and it"s cup for the axle. The part # JD7590 has been replaced with JD7395. That"s nothing out of the ordinary, but the cup is 10 thousands deeper than the original. Has anyone used this new part #, and did it give you any problems?

This bearing is used on the 40U after serial # 62734, the 40S after serial # 68877 and all 40W"s and V"s.

looks like the bearing cup will fit a 420 crawler?

My parts book shows 2 different bearings and cups for the outer axle bearing.

Bearing: (-141491) JD7589T, (141492-) JD8146T
Cup: (-141491) JD8315T, (141492-) JD7272R
