i am putting together the 6619 project, have ring kits from fp diesel. my manual doesnt indicate having two tapered upper rings, the rings are both tapered marked s1 fp up and s2 fp up and look the same, but dont want to assume 1 and 2 mean 1 top and 2 second without knowing. What ever happened to good instructions with things... Thanks, Adam |

| Yes #1 would be considered the "top" ring, then #2 would be next down from the top toward the wrist pin,,the oil ring set then at the bottom, same as any other piston set up.Most any time there is a mark on a ring, like a "dot" or and "X" that mark would also go "up"..toward the top of the piston,,hope this helps.. |
