JD B Hood Bolts

What do I need to get these bolts off? it looks like some kinda security bolt, Steiners doesnt seem to sell the socket and their replacement bolts/screws look different than factory

It's called a "clutch bit" and you should be able to find one at an auto parts store. Should also fit a half-inch wrench. Mine do. Squirt some PB Blaster on the nut side if you can reach it. Others sell factory-style bolt kits for $35 or so which includes all needed for sheet metal.

Checked the Parts Catalog PC0330 on pages 59 and 60.

Key 5, 6 and 21 hold the sides of the hood.

Hope this helps.
