60 Tachometer

Got one that has the input shaft very very stiff to turn. Think it needs cleaned up and lubbed. The screw on the back collar won't turn. Is that a collar that has to come off for dis-assembly? I know getting the bezel off the glass is a problem. Anyone ever tried carefully cutting the bezel with a dremel saw, expanding it enough to get it off then putting it back together with JB Weld, epoxy or whatever might work? I'm not opposed to spending the money to get it restored, I'm just kinda psycho about trying to figure out a way to do things myself. That's part of the fun of restoring these ole suckers.

I had him redo my tach for the 70. Very quality work. You have to bend the chrome rim up to take it apart. When I got into mine it needed parts so I sent to him.
