1972 4020 PTO leak.

Well i fixed it. I had a leak on the shaft that to the upper right of the pto once the cover is removed. The oring was leaking. Everyone told me to remove the snap ring and pull the shaft out. I did and the 48 needle bearings fell in the idler gear. I finally fishednthenrollers out and with the help of red and tacky grease I was able to get it all back together. If one of you has this same leak don't make the same mistake. All you have to do is remove the snap ring and push the shaft in about a half inch and you can get to the oring with no problem. It is not fun trying to get the rollers back in.
 
I see that I'm too late on this but I have a 4020 with the rockshaft off now and I can see that there is room to push the pin in a bit to get to the o-ring,,which you already know now, Darn it. Those rollers are a PITA for sure..but I have never seen one leak there...I have changed the gear a few times...
