recently had a problem with my 5203. suddenly stopped running. would turn over but not start. turned out to be a bad temperature sensor. you can either replace the part or just unhook it if you live in a warmer climate. kept blowing one of the 20 amp fuses. anyway we unhooked it and the tractor runs fine. also baldwin filters make a fuel filter for the 5203 at about 1/2 of the john deere price. the baldwin number is bf7745-d. you will have to buy a case to get the good price. only drawback.
