The 4010 system, like any properly installed LP system, will have two valves, one liquid (off the bottom of the tank) and one vapor (off the top of the tank), and when LP is pressurized, it will liquify, even if it is introduced in a vapor form, or is introduced in liquid form into the top of the tank (which is normally the only way you can fill the tank.) Do you remember whether you switched it to liquid once you started it? Normally they are started on vapor and then switched to liquid within a few minutes. But nevertheless, it should have run okay to pull a four bottom plow or a baler, vapor or liquid. Sounds like a problem with the system that needed professional attention, not anything that you did wrong. Just sayin'.

Yes, always started it on vapor and then switched to liquid.
