Whichester1 01-10-2013 15:48:43 173.27.234.101 Report to Moderator	A friend of the family who lives in Southern Indiana recently passed away. He had a barn full of items in his "collection" including a John Deere Hit and Miss engine. It does apparently run, but I don't know the horsepower. Anybody have a ballpark value on these engines. As I said the owners family are friends, I don't want to cheat them but don't want to cheat myself either. Even ballpark values would be better than I have now. Thanks, Bill. [Reply]   [No Email]

In my opinion, for an engine in running condition but not recently restored; 1-1/2 hp $600-1200; 3 hp $1000-$2000 6 hp $3000-$4500 A picture would be helpful.   [Reply]  [No Email]
