I have a JD 5200 tractor that I would like to put duals on. Has anyone done this or have any ideas on how to accomplish? It has 16.9-28 tires on 15" rims on the machine now.

| We did that for a guy who had some side hills he was mowing. Got some Unverferth clamp on duals. Used 4 of the 6 bolts on the pressed steel center to rim bolts. It worked well for him with no issues.

| Dual wheels are put on tractors to give them more traction, to give better stability on hills, and to lighten the load on the ground. Thanks for asking.

| Would putting on a set of wide, low turf tires accomplish what you want to do? It would take fronts and rears.

| I don't know if JD recommends putting duals on a 5200 but it could be accomplished by using clamp-on dual wheels.

| Back in the 70's-90's DMI built clamp-on dual wheels. I'd suggest placing classified ads and look on Ebay & Craigslist.
