Can someone tell me what a DXL 53 carburator is off of? If not for a G will it work ok if tractor is stock? Maybe plow with it someday.

Yes it will work on a stock tractor. These carbs can be modified as well to be close to 51 anyway. If you must get one, be patient look around and dont give into those greedy astronomical prices.

The DLTX-53 was used on model A's from serial# 499000 to 583999. 1941 to mid-year 1947 models.

Pony up and buy the correct DLTX51 carb... There are some out there that are not priced at the 500 mark they are on ebay.. Find a good rebuild-able one...

The DLTX53 is a carb off an A as per my catalog. Do not find the carb you listed unless you left out the letter L
