Can someone tell me the the crankcase capacity of oil a 4010 with a M&W oil pan would be? My 4010 book calls for 9 qt with originsl pan. Thanks |

| On my 4010, five gallons will get the oil level, with a new filter,slightly above the "add" mark on the stick. Six gallons will raise the level to a little above the "Full" mark. |

| They were always called a 20 quart pan.They are a hot item bringing $800 or more.I used to buy new ones 40 yrs ago for $250.Some guys are using the pan off 69/72 4020s that held 12 qts and that is better than 8 that 64/68 held.Oil has always been cheap compared to problems. |
