I was wanting to know exactly when Deere starting putting pressed wheels on front of M's instead of cast front wheels. |

| The parts book says serial # 43251 and up on the M got the pressed steel wheels. That doesn't make a good serial number break however by year. It would be tail end of the 1950 run starts to get pressed steel wheels instead of the cast. All 1951-1952 should have the pressed steel and a very few late 1950 M's. I am not going to claim this to be 100% correct but thats my best educated guess. |
