I tried the 1 800 number but they say they cant help me so I am posting again. Can anyone please give me the torque specs for this engine.I am a disabled Viet Nam era vet and my check doesnt come in till the third wednesday of each month and with Christmas all moneys are already spent and I cant even go to town and buy a hamburger much less a manual and I really need to get this thing running. Can anyone please give me the torque specs on this engine?

Sounds like a 1010 or combine engine?

Head bolts - 125-150 ft. lbs.
Rod bolts - 40-45 ft. lbs.
Main cap bolts - 140-150 ft. lbs.
Rocker arm to head bolts - 30 ft. lbs.
Flyhweel bolts - 70-76 ft. lbs.

That 800 number is for to place an order for manuals.

I'm betting Deere is getting lots of calls like yours because the 800 number is given out many many times at this site without an explaination of what it actually is.

That 800 number can get you a manual, but you do need to be patient if you are working on a project.I have been trying to get an operators manual for a 7700 combine for a customer since october 3,and as of a week ago,he still did not have it.This has involved several calls to that number. This past week I needed a manual for a 2020,I paid the extra $20 to get it next day ,it came in 3 days.If you can get the information on this site you may have the project done before your manual arives.

It's never taken more than a week for cd's and 10 days for a paper copy from Deere. And that is regular mail that also has to cross the border.

I've thought at some length about this post.
Either somebody has written a bait post which I hope. Or you are having a tough time of it which is rough. To have served and end up behind the 8 ball for your efforts.
In all honesty if you are this close to going under. It maybe time to consider heading for shallower water and get your feet on firm ground?
I've seen a lot of people happier after they adjust to having more of less.
Sorry but I can't think of a better answer.
