The 10.1 is the same basic engine with some updates. They just changed to metric nomenclature, it still had inch fasteners, etc.

I do not have a list of machines that used the 10.1.

(quoted from post at 22:41:24 12/04/12) The smaller forage harvesters did not, i.e. 5440, 5720 and 5730. Believe they had 466"s.

Roger
I copied & pasted this out of the parts catalog #1601(5440 forage harvester)

BLOCK ASSEMBLY, COMPLETE (6404)
BLOCK ASSEMBLY, COMPLETE (6619A)

(quoted from post at 07:29:16 12/05/12) 619 was never used in the 8440 or 8450 Kent

Kent & FactoryFarmer
I might have overlooked something in my brief research but according to parts catalog #1875 the 466 was used in the 8450 & the 619 was used in a 8650.
BLOCK ASSEMBLY, COMPLETE (6466)
BLOCK ASSEMBLY, COMPLETE (6619A)
BLOCK, ENGINE SHORT (6619AR) (EARLY DESIGN) (8650)

The online PC has both machines in it, but 404 was in 5440 and 619 in the 5460. That was the reason for two models. The smaller had a smaller engine.

(quoted from post at 16:22:00 12/04/12) What are some tractors that have a 619 engine in them?

5020's and 6030's with 6189's are not allowed in farm stock.

Thats what they make angle grinders and bondo for

Hard to hide inline pump, turbo and aftercooler with bondo when its bolted in a 5020.

Why would you waste a perfectly good 619 on a 5020? lol

"Hard to hide inline pump, turbo and aftercooler with bondo when its bolted in a 5020"

So then you have to make the 5020 look like a 6030.

That's what they try to do around here. Back in the 70's I pulled a 4230 disguised as a 4430, had to cut the decals down a bit, welded a short 4" air stack to the little 4230 air stack, the to6 turbo was a bit hard to hide but back then nobody looked that close,,and we didn't let them have a good look,,we had a lot of fun with it back then.
