Topic: 1966 4020 syncro Diesel foot throttle correct hook up

My 4020 came w/o a foot throttle. The parts book shows the same part numbers for the linkage and the pc that fits over the pedal shaft but the pedal it self has different part numbers for the gas than the diesel. The pedal I have came from a gasser and does not fitwork. It lies flat on the platform when hooked facing forward. Any body have the pedal for a diesel? Also, the parts book is no help for insuring the proper hook up. Any one have a pic of a correctly connected pedal and linkage? Your help is welcome! Thanks

| The gas and Diesel are different, the gas linkage goes out the left side of the fire wall, the diesel out the right side, and they can be ornery to deal with in those tight quarters, there also was some difference as the serial numbers progressed ,,
