John Deere 2550

Make sure the radiator is topped up, open the heater control to full and run the engine at about 1,800 RPM's. Drive it around with a light load until it warms up and the coolant will push through up to the cab and through the heater core. It's probably best to remove the radiator cap for this procedure. As soon as you get cab heat you know it's circulating OK.

Are you sure parts key #2 or 43 is opening up to allow coolant flow?? I've seen them where they wouldn't totally cut off coolant flow and a "gate valve" was added to stop heat in the Summer so AC would work better.
