Jim Hate when they paint them all up trying to hide something always red flag for me. Have not seen a nice original 4000 for awhile, was looking at one this past year but was not going to spend $20,000 what guy was asking. Heard that one sold for $19,000 was listed in here a few times but dont see it anymore.

| Jim is correct .I have a very nice 1972 original that came from a collector in Ill. 515-290-4336.There are some as nice but few nicer.

| You are correct there was.We did what he asked and then wanted more.30/40/50 year old tractors are only new once.One out of a few hundred is good but not perfect and thats the one that hurts you.If you want the details I would be glad to discuss it.
