Unsticking the 60 U-Tube Video

Watched that 10 minutes of abuse to unstick that 60 all fuel. He talked about radiator shutters on the 60 all fuel(???) Did the 60 have shutters? He was confusing the fuel control with the shutter control. I have a 70 all fuel..no shutters but it does have petcocks.

I could be wrong but it seems to me some did have shutters that were auomatically controlled by a thermostat in the front of the lower radiator tank. Seems there were 3 different heat ranges of them too. Not sure if there were any specific serial number ranges involved but sure seems familiar.

my 1953 60 has shutters on a thermostat on the bottom side of the rad, they are stuck open an unhooked, i use a feed sack, but i still farm some with it , they was trouble from what iv read on them , think late 1953 1954 they switched over to thermostat in the top of the block inlet pipe
