Restoring 1952 G question

I'm restoring a1952 JD G. It currently has a behlen power
steering on it, and I can't decide whether to leave it on it or
not? It left the dealer with it when the tractor was new. It's a
two owner tractor.

I would leave it. If it works good and they did a nice job of installing it, then i dont see any reason to take it off. Its different and there are so many tractors that are the same as the next one. Dealer installed options, even though its aftermarket, just make your tractor unique. JMHO

I would DEFINITELY LEAVE IT..... Its an option not often seen at shows or in use and I for one love that big old heavy giant Behlen unit wooooooo hooooooooo

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah the steering unit works great, just having hard time leaving it on since it wasn't "factory". I'm going to leave it on. I'll post pictures when I complete it.

i dont care for their looks but i have a 70 without power steering and everytime i back a wagon or hayrack into the shed i wish it had power steering
