I have a dump trailer made from a cut down 1 ton Chevy. Twin post hoist. Single action cylinders - mebbe 4" diameter, and pretty long. I haven't tried it yet on my 50 JD, but I'm thinking the 50 won't have enough oil to fully extend the cylinders. Have any of you guys added something for extra oil capacity? I saw a picture of a 50 with a cylindrical tank connected to and above the filler pipe on a 50 powr-trol unit. Probably used a pipe union to make the connection - couldn't tell from the pic. Just wondering if there were any proven ideas for more oil capacity. By the way - my 630 works the hoist real good, but I'm sure it has more oil storage than the 50.
Thanks,
Paul
