I have always used JD fluid in my tractor. I broke fitting the other day on a hose and lost a lot of my hytran oil before I realized what was going on.
Basically, is it ok to use 303 hytran oil from Napa or a farm center like TSC or Rural King? I have always leaned away from it but it is about half the cost. Would it be ok to mix it with however much is left in the tractor?
I about cringe everytime I have a leak or broken hose because of the cost of that stuff. Just looking for opinions, thanks! |

| I would rather use JD Hy-Gard but as long as the hyd oil is approved for wet disc application then it should be OK.
