I don't know the JD 111 disk, but if it's more of a finish disk as Tx Jim indicates and it doesn't pull real hard you should be OK. Also, if you don't plan to cover a whole lot of acres you should be OK. However, remember the JD 5000 Series tractors were originally designed to be more suited for pto work like mowing and for loader usage tractors than primary tillage, hard pulling for long hours tractors.
