I have a 45 D that has a DLTX 16 carb. It has been sitting for about 6 years and I have the tank all cleaned and getting fuel to the carb, but none to the drain on the bowl. Is there something I could do without removing the carb? If I put a small amount of 100 LL in the primer cups it will fire right off. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Float or needle valve stuck. You can try tapping on the carb bowl, but will most likely need to remove the bowl to see what is causing your problem.

You just as well remove the carb and get the float and needle valve working properly. After sitting 6 years the carb probably needs the internals cleaned as well.
