HELP!! Tires are falling off of a 720 Diesel

A friend of mine has a 720 diesel that he restored with a JD wide front. When driving in high gear, it gets a side-to-side wobble. It doesn't happen right away but after awhile it starts to wobble and lose a front tire, one or the other...very dangerous! It seems to have the usual play throughout the front. They are brand new "China-made" tires. I don't know what to tell him? Thought I'd ask the experts! Thank you in advance for your replies.

I've seen wobble so bad it would put you in the ditch...but never knock a fully inflated tire off the rim. You've got some seriously junk tires there in my opinion.

"restored" and "wobbly" front end can't hardly be used to describe the same tractor can it? I think you mean he has a re-painted tractor.

A few years ago I had some pretty heavy new "China made" tires on one of the pickups. It was only a couple of weeks old, when the hired man came pulling into the driveway. I was standing there when the sidewall blew out. He didn't hit anything - was only going 5 mph, etc...

A flap about 8 inches long and 4 inches wide just blew out the side...

Those tires were just crummy junk even though they looked pretty good...

Sounds like you might have some similar weird, cheap junk for tires...

If he used closed lugnuts and the studs are to long you will never get the wheel tightened down and it will wobble off.

I have repaired/restored a number of 2cyl wide front end JDs over the years. The wobble is probably due to a loose/worn tie rod ends, along with alignment problems. The wobble can get rather severe at speeds around 8 -10 mph.
