I have a leaking tank that appears to be cracking in approx 2 inch radius around fuel outlet. Will have a better idea when I get it out. Has any one had any luck in patching something like this? And if so what did you use? Thank you Joe Cline

| I sand blasted the bottom of mine and applied auto body fiberglass to it a few yrs ago. Worked well.

| Rusted holes in tank can also be caused from water on the inside of the tank.

Most of the tanks I've seen were leaking because of rust through.....usually from rust forming in and around the foam that John Deere put around the bottom of the tank. If the holes aren't too bad and too numerous, I've had them brazed over with good results. YMMV. Good luck!
