How do you add a youtube video to this web sight. I have tried a dozen differnt ways just gives me an "Video Error" message?

1) I have copied the embed address from youtube and pasted to Optional Video Title: doesn't work.

2) Also, copied to Optional Video URL: doesn't work.

Here"s one way you can add a YouTube video to your post on this web sight.

  • Type the following HTML code in the Message: box where you want to create the hyperlink:
  • Photobucket

  • Type the text that will describe the hyperlink.
  • Photobucket

  • Type the following HTML code after the text.

This HTML code and text should be displayed in the Message: box:

  • Go to YouTube and locate the video you want to add to your post/reply.

  • Move your mouse pointer over the address bar and right click to select the video's URL address.

  • Click the Copy option to copy the URL address.

  • Go back to the YT forum Message: box.

  • Move you mouse pointer between the two quotation marks and click to position the insertion point.
  • Photobucket

  • Right click and select the Paste option to paste the URL address.

  • Click the YouTube Preview Message button.
  • The following hyperlink should display:

  • Click the Photobucket hyperlink to watch the video.

    Hope this helps.

When you click on the reply name at the bottom right and it brings up the Add a Reply page. Type in a description in the Comments area, then go down below the Comments area and find the window slot with the title "Link Title" to the left of it. In this post I will call the utube video "12-25 Case". Look for it beside the word Link,at the bottom of this post and click on it and it will automatically go to the video. A caution here, some computers are not able to open the video, either because they are to slow or they do not have the proper video software. Next, open another window and go to where your favorite video is located. Start the video and while it is playing, copy the address in the address window above (where is now) in my case it will be utube something or other. Then come back to this page and paste it on the line window above "Link Title" called "Optional Link URL" then go to the bottom of the Add a Reply page and click on Preview Your Reply and Submit. You can click on the link to check it out before you click on submit if you want.
