What is the best spark plug for a retired 1940 B? Used in parades and running around shows, not much of a load. Not sure if the 1940 is 7/8-18 or 18mm thread. Currently have 1 unreadable Champion and 1 antique long reach. 3116, 3076, 3077 (long reach)? It boggles the mind.
Thanks,
Mike

If its the smaller 18 mm Id run the Non Resistor Autolite 3116. They are in the heat range vicintiy of the 386 and 388 resistor plugs. If its the older 7/8 Id run the deep reach side wire electrode Autolite 3077.

Thats my story n Ima stickin to it

We have a '40 B and it uses the 7/8 inch plugs. Therefore, the Autolite 3077 would be good.
