When I was growing up we had an old JB or JBA drag disc with the little weight boxes. We kept a concrete block in each one. I was looking at a drag disc for sale locally and I believe it to be the KB or KBA version. It doesn"t have the weight boxes on top. Just a rounded frame that goes around the top of the disc axles. Were these heavier discs that don"t require as much additional weight or what? BTW, what is the difference in a KB and a KBA? Thanks.

| JB & JBA were built before KB then KBA was a later model than the others. I think a KBA was heavier than the JB/JBA but not by a lot.
