| Yes rope start. My R has it. They were an option on 49 & 50 models only. Ive seen a couple sell, 4-800.

| I've never heard of being able the rope start the pony on an R. But we had a Cat D6 pony that was more often than not started with a "rip cord" (actually a piece of clothesline with a stick tied on the end).

| I have seen them around but they run 6-7 hundred to buy. I asume your talking rope start
