I own a john deere 22 low drum cotton picker mounted on a 60. The tractor is a 1954 but I don't know what year the picker is. The picker serial number is 2538 if anyone has any help! |

| I have some more pictures! And I am located in SilverCity, Mississippi. I'm planning on picking some cotton this year with it just to try it out! |

| My Dad and Grandpa bought a new #1 John Deere picker that they mounted on a 620 John Deere tractor. It was a one row also. This was in the early 60's. |

| My new neighbor is a retired cotton farmer. He moved to town last year. He told me he had a 60 with a picker on it at his farm shop. He said some guy stopped by and asked if he wanted to sell it and he said yes . The guy asked how much you want for it and he thought about it a little and said how about 800 dollars. The guy reached for his wallet and paid him on the spot. I wished I would have known about it. I guess I'm a day late and a dollar short. |

| | I would guess it to be around the same age as the tractor. maybe a little newer. I don't know for sure though. I'll see if my book has any info on pickers. I'd like to see more pictures of it if you have any. Where are you located at? Chris |
