I've got a 6410 that has a leak in reverse. It is right hand reverser, and I have checked the mechanical linkage. All functions test normal except reverse looses system pressure. CD says tilt cab to remove transmission. I need a tool or some really good pics of one. I understand how they work, but need better understanding of the geometry. I know they aren't the favorite series but many of them out there. |

| RH wheel, steps off,cab filters and exhaust pipe off, clutch cable and throttle linkage off,cab mounts undone, cab tool installed, crank the cab over,(+45degrees)install support rod, remove powerQuad module. I have done it without the tool by installing a piece of square tubing in the LH step socket and lifting with a forklift....BUT watch as after a certain point the weight of the cab goes over center and will fall to the right. This procedure is one of the few advantages of a Mannhiem built over Waterloo. |
