| 2010 pto's have been noisy since brand new when engaged. Reason is that parts key #22 must be slide on parts key #21 as pto clutch is engaged. IIRC tractor must be split to access the pto parts.

| You have to adjust the pto linkage. There's a threaded plug on the housing at the rear of the tractor about 2 inches diameter. Gotta stick a socket through that hole and turn a nut, and with some hope and prayer, you will adjust it so it does not grind anymore. Of course, as you are turning this nut, you can't see what effect you are having (all the linkage is INSIDE the case) so you have no idea where the "right" spot is. I tried it six times on my 2010, before I got frustrated and finally resorted to lifting the rockshaft housing off, so I could see the linkage with my own eyes and see what I was doing by turning the nut. I'm going to check to see if I have that part of the manual in a pdf file, and maybe I could email it to you? |

| Yes, 2010"s have an exotic linkage system, one of the "weirdest" PTO"s ever made... |
