Topic: Blue smoke from jd 60

I have a JD 60 that when under some load starts puffing blue smoke. I did a compression test and have 100 psi in each cylinder. Looking at the manual, design compression is 123, so I am assumming that 100 this is considered good. What else would cause blue smoke? Taking out the spark plugs, they are all wet and black.

| If you have an oil pressure shut off on gas tank the diaphrams can leak oil into the gas and make her smoke blue .

| Carb could be adjusted too rich..gas in the crankcase... oil is too thin....oil rings are worn...valve guides are worn...or might just need a good hard workout to burn off deposits and clean it up
