EGBinOR 08-27-2012 17:35:28 184.100.133.61 Report to Moderator	What did I do? I"ve competly gone thru everything on a JD M and am putting it back together. Been at this off and on for three years. One of the things I"ve done along the way was to replace the seal in the stering gear and the bearings in the spindles etc.. Now I"m putting everything back together and getting ready for the last coat of paint only to discover the steering is now backwards!! For the life of me I don"t see what is wrong! Ashamed to say I"m a retired hvy duty truck mech!! Reminds me of the time I took apart and lubed the steering gear on my boat. That time I figured out what I did eventually! Looks like I"m going to have to turn the whole axle 180 degrees. The parts book shows the axle off center fwd, apparently the pic is wrong.
